Forum Post: Setting a field value in one entity based on field values in another entity

Hopefully I can explain this clearly... In our Cases entity we have a section where we add different types of third party vendor services to the case (subgrid). They are things like Electrical, Plumbing, Pool etc. The person in charge of the case can add any number of these third party services as needed. They are stored in a custom entity that references the Case so that when you view it you only see the services that have been added to that Case. On each vendor service record there is a scheduled date and a completion date. I would like to be able to check and see of all if the selected services have been scheduled (the date contains data) and then set a field value on the case record that can then be referenced in a process to ensure that the case isn't moved to the next stage until all of the services have been scheduled. Is this even possible?
