Forum Post: Case - Save and Route

At first glance the Save and Route functionality seems great, but I am unable to use this as my requirement calls for a routing of a case not to a static user, but to a user specified on the related account form. To satisfy this requirement, I have reverted to a workflow. The problem is that the normal "Save and Close" functionality has been replaced by "Save and Route" and users are now forced to use this, even if no routing rule can be set up? Clicking on Save and Route then displays the warning that no routing rule has been set up every time a user attempts to save a case?
