Hello Sharon, thank you for the response. SQL services: up and running Anti-virus: no Firewall: turned off This is the only section in the log hinting an error, all the other checks ended up with an success: 13:45:52| Info| Group Active Directory® 13:45:52| Error| Check DomainUserValidator : Failure: The current user is not a domain user. 13:45:52|Verbose| Validation ran. 13:45:52|Verbose| Validation completed. 13:45:52|Verbose| Method exit: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EDW.Framework.EDWTool.Run Aftre struggling with this, we were able to use a special user which is in the same domain as the computer ( before we were using users from a domain which has outgoing trust to the domain of the computer), but it caused us a lot of complications since we are in a restricted domain environment. Also, this will again cause us issues with future installations to new environments and/or installations of updates - would it be possible to allow installation by a user who comes from a different domain, when there is trust established between the two domains and all the other requirements are met? Thank you, Tomas
