Hello folks... I haven't worked with MDM yet but would like to use it. Here is a situation that I'd like to replicate (currently doing it from a SQL DB + Power BI)... We run campaigns with multiple sources (display ad publishers, organic social mentions, paid social posts) and medium (display banner ads in different sizes, search engine marketing, etc). The way my DB is setup I can enter expenses with sources and based on Google Analytics I can attribute landing and goals ("thank you for registering" and "download page") to different sources. Based on this I can tag the expenses in our database and easily see how much each goal costs overall for a campaign and individually per source - so we can determine which one brings better results, etc. Looking around MDM I am not sure how attribution works - as in if I put the MDM tracking code in our websites will MDM correctly determine what was just a referral (visiting our landing page) and what was a conversion (actually entering details and being redirected to a download page)? And will this code correctly attribute this action to a specific source? Thanks!
